Mokoba was founded and incorporated in 2022, as an animal and wildlife sanctuary in Sierra Leone. The entity was founded by a Sierra Leone native, residing in the United States. We are established to save the endangered species of Elephants, Hippopotamus, and other wildlife, by providing protective safe haven grounds, as well as educate the communities on the importance of wildlife preservation.
Purpose
Preserve and protect animals and their natural habitats; thereby, safeguarding our ecosystem, by stabilizing the environment.
Mission
Our mission at Mokoba Animal Sanctuary is to rescue, raise, rehabilitate, and release injured and orphaned Elephants, Hippos, and other native species, as well as educate communities about respecting and preserving the environment.
Vision
To build a safe and world-class animal and wildlife sanctuary with the capacity to display as a tourist attraction and perverse Elephants, Hippos, and other wildlife in Sierra Leone.
